Na ihrisku Black Stork Veľká Lomnica (par 72, 5378 m) sa v dňoch 12. - 14. augusta 2025 hral turnaj zo série Faldo Series Junior Tour 2025 za účasti hráčov a hráčiek z 8 krajín.


Faldo Series založil v r. 1996 Sir Nick Faldo s cieľom podporiť a vyhľadávať golfové talenty v juniorských kategóriách vo veku 12 až 21 rokov. Každoročne sa odohrá asi 40 turnajov v 30 krajinách sveta. Je to jediná akcia svojho druhu na svete. Víťazi jednotlivých kategórií získavajú pozvánku na Grandfinale, ktoré sa hrá v špičkových golfových rezortoch.


V Black Stork sa hralo v 4 kategóriách: G U16, G U21, B U16, B U21.

V kategórii G U16 sa predstavila aj Zoey Sophia Pápay, ktorá bola najmladšou účastníckou turnaja a hneď svoju prvú účasť premenila na vilťazstvo v kategórii do 16 rokov, čím si zabezpečila účasť na Grand Final European, ktoré sa uskutoční v Al Ain v Spojených Arabských Emirátoch. Zoey Sophia si postupne zapísala +6/78, +8/80 a +4/76 v troch kolách a zahrala 7 birdie a 1 eagle.

Zoey Sophia zároveň zahrala aj najlepší výsledok zo ženských kategórií a ako najmladšia hráča sa prebojovala do prestížneho svetového golfového rebríčka WAGR.

Zoey Sophii patrí obrovská gratulácia.

On the Black Stork course in Velka Lomnica (par 72, 5378 m), the Faldo Series Junior Tour 2025 tournament was played on August 12-14, 2025, with the participation of players from 8 countries.


The Faldo Series was founded in 1996 by Sir Nick Faldo with the aim of supporting and searching for golf talents in junior categories between the ages of 12 and 21. About 40 tournaments are held annually in 30 countries around the world. It is the only event of its kind in the world. The winners of each category receive an invitation to the Grand Final, which is played in top golf resorts.


The Black Stork course was played in 4 categories: G U16, G U21, B U16, B U21.

Zoey Sophia Papay also appeared in the G U16 category, as she was the youngest participant in the tournament and immediately turned her first participation into a triumph in the under-16 category, thus securing her participation in the Grand Final European, which will take place in Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates. Zoey Sophia successively recorded +6/78, +8/80 and +4/76 in three rounds and played 7 birdies and 1 eagle.

Zoey Sophia also played the best result in the women's categories and became the youngest player to make it to the prestigious WAGR world golf rankings.
