V Sedin Golf Resort začali v sobotu 4. mája svoje tohtoročné súťaže aj naši najmladší. Za príjemného slnečného počasia svojím prvým kolom odštartovala TON 2024 by Rory Sabbatini I - 18 jamiek. V kategórii dievčat U12 nechýbala obhajkyňa prvenstva z minulého roka, stále iba 10 ročná Zoey Sophia Pápay.

Zoey Sophia hneď v prvom kole ukázala, že je na sezónu výborne pripravená a zvíťazila s vysledkom 82 rán /+9. Zahrala 11 parov, 1 birdie, 3 bogey, 2 double bogey a 1 triple bogey. Hlavne triple bogey hneď na prvej jamke, keď sa prvou ranou drajvom vyhodila do autu a menšie zaváhania na 9. a 11. jamke, kde zahrala double bogey ju pripravili o ešte lepší výsledok. O kvalitách Zoey Sophie svedčí aj fakt, že HCP 7,2 ktorým vstupovala do sezóny dokázala hneď na prvom turnaji vylepšiť na 6,6.

At Sedin Golf Resort, our youngest also started their competitions for this year on Saturday, May 4. In pleasant sunny weather, TON 2024 by Rory Sabbatini I - 18 holes started with its first round. In the category of U12 girls, the defending champion from last year was not missing, Zoey Sophia Pápay, with the age only 10 years old.

Zoey Sophia showed in the first round that she is well prepared for the season and won with a result of 82 shots /+9. She played 11 pars, 1 birdie, 3 bogeys, 2 double bogeys and 1 triple bogey. Especially the

triple bogey on the very first hole, when she threw herself into the out with the first shot, and minor hesitations on the 9th and 11th holes, where she double bogeyed, deprived her of an even better result. Zoey Sophie's qualities are also evidenced by the fact that she was able to improve her HCP of 7.2 at the start of the season to 6.6 at the very first tournament.
