Mladí slovenskí golfisti a golfistky v druhý deň zabojovali a väčšine z nich sa podarilo postúpiť v poradí. Nemožno nespomenúť výborný výkon Zoey Sophie Pápay. Priamo z turnaja sa nám ozval jej ocino: "Včera Zoey Sophia zahrala -4, čo je nielen najlepší výkon dňa, ale aj obidvoch súťažných dní a tvrdo sa prihlásila o popredné umiestnenia. 

Včera zahrala 14 parov a 4 birdie , čiže čistá Score Card, čo je tiež nevídané. Hlavne u nej, ktorá hrá len druhý viacdňový 18 jamkový turnaj. Nie je jednoduché vedieť zahrať hneď na začiatku rovnako konzistentne 18 jamiek, ako donedávna hrávala 9 jamiek. A to ešte nehovorím o tých vysokých teplotách. 

Klobúk dole ako sa dokázala zmobilizovať po nevydarenom dni a zlepšiť sa o 12 rán! Verím, že aj posledný hrací deň na Venice Open Zoey Sophia ešte zabojuje a svojimi výsledkami povzbudí aj ostatné deti na Slovensku ku golfu. 

To čo dnes predviedla, je známka najvyššej kvality".

Young Slovak golfers fought on the second day of Venice Open and most of them managed to advance in the ranking. It is impossible not to mention Zoey Sophie Pápay's excellent performance. Her father told us directly from the tournament: "Yesterday Zoey Sophia played -4, which is not only the best performance of the day, but also of both competition days, and she fought hard for the leading position.

Yesterday she played 14 pars and 4 birdies, meaning she got a clean Score Card, which is also unheard of. Especially for her, who is playing just second multi-day 18-hole tournament. It is not easy to be able to play 18 holes as consistently as if she was playing 9 holes like until recently. And I'm not even talking about those high temperatures.

Hats off to how she managed to mobilize herself after a bad day and improve by 12 shots! I believe that even on the last day of play at the Venice Open, Zoey Sophia will still fight and her results will encourage other children in Slovakia to play golf.

What she showed today is a sign of the highest quality".
