2023 First Tee Doral Jr. Classic, ktorý sa uskutočnil v dňoch 18.-19.12.2023 v Trump National Miami bol prvým turnajom, ktorého sa v kategórii dievčat do 11 rokov zúčastnila naša veľká golfová nádej iba 10 ročná Zoey Sophia Pápay.

Bohužiaľ hneď po príchode do USA ochorela a namiesto prípravy na turnaj strávila čas v posteli s antibiotikami. Napriek tomu sa v štartovnom poli nestratila a obsadila výborné 10. miesto. Vzhľadom ku chorobe, ktorá ju postihla pred turnajom a aj skutočnosti, že hrala v kategórii do 11 rokov to jednoznačne považujeme za veľký úspech v jej kariére.

2023 First Tee Doral Jr. The Classic, which took place on December 18-19, 2023 at Trump National Miami, was the first tournament in which our great golf hope, only 10-year-old Zoey Sophia Pápay, participated in the under-11 girls category.

Unfortunately, right after arriving in the USA, she got sick and instead of preparing for the tournament, she spent time in bed with antibiotics. Despite this, she did not get lost in the starting field and took an excellent 10th place. Considering the illness that struck her before the tournament and the fact that she played in the under-11 category, we clearly consider it a great success in her career.
